The Freedom to Limit Freedom and Back to the Policy of ‘Divide and Rule’
For decades it has been a taught fact at the universities that 75%-80% of human communication is of a non verbal nature.
In this recent push and pull and adjustment of a large fabric named veil / burgha by pro and contras, the question that has remained unspoken is: How can UK education system produce a teaching assistant who has no basic knowledge and understanding of means of communication with primary school children?
It is simply against equal opportunities policy for a veiled teacher to work in education system. This is not only because she discriminates against male colleagues - and is prejudiced in regards to their assumed desires - and also discriminates against herself in comparison to them, but mainly because she demonstrates to her pupils that just as she has no equal rights to have a visible face in public, the female pupils must also internalize this meaning conveyed through her attitude.
This is besides the fact that she seems totally unconcerned about children’s dreams and possible nightmares at night time when they are not at school.
As for other kind of jobs apart from employment in education system, I don’t think a veiled woman’s discrimination against herself should be used by others to discriminate against her as well. In some areas of work her uniform might prove even useful.
For instance working at the counter in a bank with the mask (the literal meaning of the word neghab) may even deter masked robbers to approach the counter.
Other occupations like collecting tax, rent/mortgage payment collector or even body guarding ministers may prove very effective as well.
As many Moslem men usually go back to their country of origin in order to marry, it is possible that this western style phenomenon is a modern tactic of young Moslem girls to show to the eligible men and these men’s mothers and sisters that they are not ‘corrupted’ by western values and are marriageable according to the Islamic rules.
However, if even this sacrifice is not going to convince the eligible Moslem men to marry within the UK Moslem community, I suggest posting more photos of veiled virgins on the internet (titled: Lonely Hearts beneath the Veils?). And perhaps as a result some veils will appeal to Taliban’s men and convince them to become suitors for these female UK citizens and decide to marry and settle down eventually.
Who knows, having been born of a western anti ex Soviet Union idea, all that these guys in Afghanistan are asking for might be simply a UK citizenship after all.
The other option is divide Afghanistan and ask those Afghanis who want Taliban to move to his side of the country. My guess is that the Taliban’s country would be more likely to end up having a predominantly male population.
Then ask the UK Burghese to move there and work as teachers for their own future children.
This will delay the bad effects of this ever worsening conflict in UK as well as offering a higher cultural opportunity of education for Taliban’s men in the next 50 years. And by then the earth has sorted out her own inventive mechanisms for survival as a living entity, having been the rubbish bin of all the destructive ideas, politics, pollution and waste for so many centuries. And as usual she will not be likely to discriminate.

Здравствуйте, уважаемые форумчане! Решил поделиться своими мыслями по поводу наших СМИ. Что с ними творится? Неужели все газеты скоро будут электронными? А как же чашечка кофе с утра, сидя на кресле-качалке и свежая утренняя пресса? Неужели всё это исчезнет?

Это конечно всё замечательно, но как вы считаете, имеет ли смысл это делать? Ведь весь шик журналов заключается в высоком качестве бумаги… в ощущении его гладкости, яркости картинок в реальном мире… а не через монитор.
Если так и дальше всё пойдёт, то и еду станет в тюбиках, и женится будут через инет.
А на сколько для вас важен реальный мир? И хотите ли вы, чтобы всё “настоящее” стало виртуальным?
